You may want to enjoy some still nice weather this weekend and go to Central Park by the Alice in Wonderland site (east side of the Park). You’ll be near one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan.

At the same time, you’ll be near one of the best café deals in Manhattan: the Frick Madison museum at 945 Madison Avenue and 75th street, one block east from the Park.

The Frick Collection on Fifth Avenue is closed for renovations, so it moved to Madison Avenue in what used to be the Whitney Museum, which itself has moved to a new building on Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking district.

Get into the Frick Madison, go down the stairs on the right of the entrance and you’ll find a great cafe with a private garden. Food is basic but very affordable. No admission fee unless you want to visit the museum.
